Greetings from Vegas... Today I continue where I left off on Friday.
Instead of worrying about what this blog should say, I'm just going to be candid. Shit might get boring, but that also means it will be real. There are days when nothing happens and days where everything happens at once.
So, join me for the ride if you want. There'll be boring, but exciting build ups (hopefully) and fast (stomach in your throat) downs. Kinda like this:
So with that being said, let's get things under way.
Some quick catching up: June 7th to 13th.
Family birthday parties, meeting Meg's Dad, sister, step-mom and brother (whose 30th birthday we celebrated). Holy crap! I am almost 30. How'd that happen? Such a good bunch of people. Brett (the brother) has this yearly tradition of writing a script for his birthday which everyone has a part in as a character. Sadly I have no photos of the hilarity, but trust me. It was funny!
More Ebay stuff getting boxed for the sale (which has ended by the way, so congrats on missing out). Shot stuff at Aperture Rent for an upcoming review on the DEDPXL blog.
Did some inventory today (June 11th) after the video at Aperture Rent. Uhh! Where is the other Fuji XT-1? What do you mean it's not in the bag? Wasn't it at Brett's? Did we just lose a $2000 worth of gear? Shit!
The following day:
We found it? Where? At Brett's house! Halleluja :)
June 12th: Day 11
June 14th: Day 13
This was a long and very very hot day. Zack and I was out for most of it, shooting video for DEDPXL Assignment #04 which begins today (June 23rd), so go check it out on dedpxl.com. We spent about 5 hours in downtown Atlanta shooting stuff. Zack showed me some of the spots where they filmed "The Walking Dead', which was rad and then we headed to the skatepark, to kill two birds with one stone, which was; getting a shadow shot (DEDPXL #03) and then the shot for the current assignment.
After that it was time to hit the pub for a cool down beer and then Zack and Meg were taking me out for dinner, but that's a whole different post for another day. So I leave you with that for now.
