In this ongoing photographic body of work of depictions of Adam and Eve the artist is exploring the gap, or rather, the bridge between evolution and religion and our belief or disbelief in either or perhaps both in some instances. Rather than arguing for one or the other, he is looking to see if they are and can be interconnected.
By having subjects from different cultures, beliefs, sexes, genders, race, body types the artist is asking the question of whether there were perhaps more than “one” Adam and Eve? Moving away from a Western depiction of a white first man and woman.
A brief description of the project and what I require from the models other than arriving with an open mind and heart.
I am exploring the gap or rather the bridge between evolution and religion and our belief or disbelief in either or perhaps even both in some instances and I am trying to explore this via photography. Think of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden as a reference.
In terms of subjects, I am looking for the following people. Individuals, young, old, gay, straight, beautiful, old, ugly, overweight, skinny, trans, black, Asian, Indian, white, etc. Basically, people from all cultures walks of life, beliefs, you name it.
Willing to pose nude, although you will cover yourself and we can meet and discuss expectations and boundaries, comfort levels beforehand or discuss it over the phone, via call, text, Skype. Must be willing to sign a model release and be at an age of consent.
Should you be interested in being part of this project and have any questions or concerns please fill out your details in the form below and I’ll be in touch.
